How does it work? Do you have to watch the Maryland Midday Pick 3 everyday?

No!! We will watch it for you. If your number is drawn, we will email you the good news and you will have until noon the following day to pick your favorite prize bundle. What if you miss the noon deadline? No worries. You still win and get to choose from the prize bundles available.

Maryland Midday Pick 3 will be drawn at 12:27 pm. The winner will be notified via email and have 24 hours to pick their prize. Winners will also be listed at the top of this page and on Facebook and Instagram.

Loved all of it. As a planner, I know this way had to be so much easier on the committee. A lot less labor intensive then in the past. I also liked that there wasn’t a lot of “junk” stuffed in the purse. Fewer, better quality items are better.

Thought it was very clever to tie into MD Lottery and liked the idea of checking every few days to see if I won anything!

I really liked this event and also enjoy the in-person shopping event. I will participate in either in the future!

What is POTP v 2.1?

POTP v.2.1 is an on-line lottery extravaganza with only 1,000 tickets available. Each ticket is assigned a three-digit number and during the month of July, the winning number will match Maryland’s midday lottery 3-pick number. That day’s winner will have a choice of 1 of over 30, high-end purse bundles with values varying from $300 to more than $1,000.

Power of the Purse (POTP) was founded in 2012 by Custom Media Options with Blossoms of Hope and the Business Women’s Network as co-recipients of the proceeds. Since then, Blossoms of Hope has partnered with Custom Media Options to make Power of the Purse a premiere shopping experience. During COVID-19, Power of the Purse v. 2.1 was created as an on-line version of the original Power of the Purse. The in-person POTP will now be a part of Beer, Bourbon and Bags while POTP v.2.1 will continue to be an on-line FUNdraiser.
